Black History Month MLK Jr. Awards Ceremony & Reception
On Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 3:30pm, in Holgate Street Church of Christ, 2600-Holgate Str. the MLKCC Black History Month Awards Ceremony & Reception will be held to recognize local individuals that have made a significant contribution to “Black History”.
After the awards ceremony, a networking reception featuring a variety of ethic dishes will be available and you can meet and greet the award recipients.
The 2023 theme is BLACK RESISTANCE: Holding the United States accountable to live up to its ideals of freedom, liberty, and justice for all.
Congratulations! To the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Committee Black History Month Award Recipients who characterize and embody the principles of non-violence and reconciliation which guided Rev. Dr. King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement.
